Seal and Insulate Rebates
Seal and Insulate rebates are also offered by SMUD. Air leaks can add up to fully open windows in most homes, and leaky ducts in attics and crawl spaces can account for 20% or more of your homes energy losses. SMUD offers incentives if you air-seal your home to SMUD program standards; install and seal new ductwork or insulate your attic and deep-bury ductwork.
